David Emanuel Academy and Faith Academy of Waynesboro split their varsity games in basketball action on Monday in Stillmore. The Lady Eagles won 49-27 over Faith Academy, while the varsity boys dropped a 42-35 decision to FA.

In the girls’ game, Bree Wimberly with 16, Sarah Jo Perkins with 13 and Liz Dye with 12 all hit double digits for DEA. Also scoring for the Lady Eagles were Molly Hammock and Cayley Flanders, each with 3, and Jordyn Bell with 2 points.

Ethan Wells tossed in 14 points to lead DEA in the boys’ game. Racyn Faircloth and Garrett Claxton tossed in 8 points each and Randon Williams had 5 to round out DEA’s scoring.
