Eighteen members of the Metter High Tiger football team have received All-Region honors in Region 3A. 

Senior Danny Cheley was named the Region 3A Player of the Year. So far this season, he has had 100 carries for 1,146 yards and 12 touchdowns and received 13 for 323 yards and four touchdowns. He has also returned 16 for 244 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Cheley is also a team leader. In the most recent match-up against Schley County, he intercepted a pass in the end zone.

Senior Josh Kelly was named the Region’s Offensive Player of the Year. Kelly has amassed 1,486 yards rushing on 166 carries with 23 touchdowns.

Honorees on the First Team All-Region include two seniors, tight end Cole McCranie and offensive tackle Christian Maartinez, along with six juniors, center Kanirion Jenkins, punter Trey Hall, offensive guard Brooks Longgrear, linebacker Kaliq Jordan, linebacker Ethan Oglesby and defensive end Jayceon Lanier. 

Second Team All-Region honorees include  three seniors, offensive guard Nate Woodcock, offensive tackle Lawrence Galvan and defensive lineman Brayden Burke, as well as three juniors, defensive end CJ Donaldson, defensive lineman Jimmy Smart and running back Antwan Coney, as well as two sophomores, kicker Fidel Esquivel and defensive lineman TJ Spann.
