Edmund Burke Academy made a clean sweep of David Emanuel Academy in basketball action in Stillmore on Jan. 21.

In the middle school girls’ game, EBA won 38-24 over DEA. Emma Proctor led the scoring for the Lady Eagles with 9 points, followed by Bree Wimberly with 7, Kaleigh Scarboro with 4, Kyli Bell with 3 and Makayla Mallard with 1.

Banks Booth scored 11 points for DEA as the middle school boys lost 47-23 to EBA. Also scoring for the Eagles were Tony Sutton with 8 and Evan Donaldson with 4.

In varsity girls action, EBA won 63-23 over the Lady Eagles. Bree Wimberly hit double digits for DEA with 13. Also scoring were Sarah Jo Perkins with 5, Liz Dye and Lanna Douglas with 2 each and Ann Carol Daniel with 1 point.

In the varsity boys’ 50-27 loss, Ethan Wells tossed in 11 points for the Eagles, followed by Racyn Faircloth with 7, Garrett Claxton with 5 and Tony Sutton and Jace Scarboro with 2 points each.
