Mike Mosley was born on August 25, 1949 to the late Bill Hagins and Rose Pearl Ferrell in Statesboro, GA. He was raised by his adopted parents, Dan Mosley and Florence Mullen Mosley. He departed this life on Friday, February 7, 2020.

 After graduating from William James High School, he worked at Georgia Southern University for 18 years and later retired from RR Donnelly where he was employed for over 26 years.

 Mike was united in holy matrimony to Luretha James Mosley on June 12, 1971 and to this union nine children were born; Mike, Anthony, Angela, Danny, Jeremy, Janice, Dennis, Loretta and Shelia. They reared two grandchildren, Areona Mosley Ford and Khalil Mosley.

 At an early age he joined Collins Church of God in Collins, GA. He later worshiped with Adabell Church of God in Register, GA.

 He was a very hard worker who loved traveling and spending time with his family. Mike loved watching basketball and riding his motorcycles. He also loved to sing and was an establishing member of the Spiritual Six at Collins Church of God. Out of everything Mike loved, there was nothing he loved more than his wife of forty-eight years and serving the lord.

 He is predeceased by his parents and adopted parents.

 He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Luretha James Mosley of Metter; five sons, Mike Lavon Mosley, Anthony Wayne Mosley, Danny Mosley, Jeremy Mosley and Dennis Mosley, all of Metter; four daughters, Angela Mosley Holloway, Janice Mosley Smith (Paul), Shelia Mosley, all of Metter and Loretta Mosley Harris (Shawn) of Statesboro; one brother, Brazil Mosley of Portal; one sister, Brenda Mosley of Trenton, NJ; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who loved him dearly; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 Funeral services will be Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the W.H. Whitaker Memorial Chapel, Whitaker Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial to follow in the Scarboro Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Public viewing will be Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

 Family visitation will be 7-8:00 p.m.
