Hilario “Lu Lu” Flores Estrada, 61, of Metter and husband of Esparanza Estrada, died Monday, July 8, 2019.
Born in Ahuiran, Mexico he was a son of Jaun Estrada and Maria Rodriguez-Flores. Mr. Estrada has lived in Metter for the past twenty plus years, was of the Catholic faith, and worked with Tyson Utilities. Mr. Estrada was known for his great sense of humor and liked to tell his “stories” that he was famous for. He loved his family and was a very hard, dedicated worker.
Surviving are his wife, Esparanza Estrada of Metter; sons, Martin Estrada and Juan Estrada, both of Metter; a daughter, Marisol Daisy Estrada; and several brothers and sisters of Mexico.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. with the rosary service starting at 7 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
Interment will be held at a later date in Mexico.
