Burma Holton Baggett, 93, of Thomasville, passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Graveside Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 10:00 am with Rev. Ricky Whitley and Rev. Mack Beck officiating.
Mrs. Baggett was born to the late Henry Mark Holton & Louise Collins Holton on March 7, 1927, in Cairo, GA. She married Leland Baggett on February 7, 1947, in Cairo, GA, who preceded her in death on April 15, 1981. She enjoyed traveling, loved to fish and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of Pineland Baptist Church as well as the American Legion Post 31 Auxiliary. She will be truly missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Baggett (Deborah) of Coolidge, GA, Randall Baggett (Donna) of Stillmore, GA, Judy Cordell (Mark) of Auburn, GA; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Baggett of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Lee Baggett (Taylor) of Pavo, GA, Brandy Baggett of Thomasville, GA, Bradley Baggett (Christy) of Cairo, GA, Kyle Baggett (Ashley) of Cumming, GA, Kimberly Baggett of Metter, GA, Jessica Beck (Mack) of Thomasville, GA, Heather Brinkley (Marcus) of Whigham, GA, Brittany Ansley (Chance) of Ochlocknee, GA, Amanda Weldon (Jason) of Atlanta, GA, and Jeffery Blalock of Thomasville, GA; a number of step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Dale McCall (Mac) and Cathy Conrad (Wayne) both of Quincy, FL.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Russell Baggett, sister, Bernice Mitchell, brother, William Holton, and daughter-in-law, Leta Baggett.
