Franklin “Frank” Kennedy, Sr., 83 of Cobbtown, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at his residence. He was born September 20, 1937, in Tattnall County, Ga to Lankford and Annie Mae Kennedy. He attended the public school of Tattnall County and graduated from Tattnall County Industrial High School. Frank had many career jobs. He was a farmer, auto mechanic, truck driver and more. He was a man of many talents. But he was at his best as an owner of his tire business in New Jersey. He retired from this business to return back home to Cobbtown in the late 80’s. Where he worked at the Crider Poultry Plant before permanently retiring due to health issues.

 Frank was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cobbtown.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; sister (Lenora) and brother (Henry).

 He is survived by one son, Franklin, Jr (Felicia) of New Jersey; six daughters; Muriel Montia (Devon) of Georgia, Zestann Jackson (Wayne) of Virginia, Debbie Rodriguez (David), Brinda Morrison (Kevin), Norma Forbes (William), Mary Lou Kennedy of New Jersey. Two brothers, Willie Kennedy, Leon Kennedy of Cobbtown. Three sisters Mary Kennedy of Cobbtown, Roxie Wilkins of Stillmore, Dophenia Byrd (Timmie) of Cobbtown. 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
