Little Caesars holds ribbon cutting

Al and Jaymi Patel welcome guests to Little Caesars.

Little Caesars held its grand opening on Friday, July 10. Located at 265 N Lewis St, Little Caesars is serving hot pizza Monday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The restaurant opened its doors to customers on Tuesday, July 7, but postponed its grand opening to Friday due to rain.

As he addressed the audience, Raj Patel, son of owner Al Patel, said, “We got the idea to open Little Caesars in Metter because we wanted our community to extend far beyond its limits.”

Mayor Ed Boyd welcomed the business to town saying, “We’re so excited to have (owner) Al Patel and his family bring Little Caesars to our community. What a great addition to the eateries in our town!”

Candler County Administrator Bryan Aasheim added, “We appreciate everything (the Patel family) has done to grow the economy of Candler County and make an investment here.”

According to owner, Al Patel, sales were more plentiful than they imagined, and the restaurant saw a very successful first week of business.

Though they do not have eat-in options, Little Caesars is open to take-out. Online ordering will be coming soon.
