During the week of May 26-29, the Candler County School System will not offer meals. However, The Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia, Candler County unit, will serve Grab & Go meals from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The meal consists of a healthy snack and hot lunch. This program is available for the entire community for children ages 1-18 (and up to 21 years old for those with special needs).

No paperwork is needed; just drive up and someone will bring the meal to the car. The Club is still serving Grab & Go meals Monday-Friday at 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily.

The BGC will be open for their summer enrichment program but under very strict guidelines and  precautions.

“We do have a limited available spots open for pre-k through 8th graders,” said Lawana Marlin, club director.

The program will run June 8 - July 22 (closed the week of June 29 - July 3) from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Tuition is $125.

Membership applications may be picked up at the BGC daily from 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. or from the website, www.bgccg.org.
