Turning the park fountain pink

Before donning their pink shirts and accessories for the Pink Out event at the Metter vs. Jenkins County football game, breast cancer heroes gathered in the downtown park to take care of some other important business ... turning the fountain pink.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, each hero was given a cup of pink dye. All of the heroes gathered to pour their cup of dye into the fountain at the same time, while family, friends and other supporters gathered around.
