Metter High School has tentatively planned Class of 2020 graduation ceremonies for Friday, July 17.

“With social distancing being still in play, having a traditional graduation in June is not going to be feasible at this time,” said MHS Principal Ellis Strobridge, “so we are looking ahead to the July 17 graduation date that was given earlier ...”

To the Class of 2020, Strobridge added, “If you have any thoughts or ideas of how you would like to be celebrated on the 17th, feel free to share them with us!

“We hope that you enjoyed your Virtual Graduation that was aired on May 16, 2020. If you are interested in having a copy of the Graduation Ceremony as memorabilia, we still have CDs available free of charge.”
