Some communities have canceled annual festival celebrations again in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But Victoria Gaitten, chairman of Another Bloomin’ Festival, announced this week that this year’s Festival is still being planned for April 3 - although, she said, that attendees can expect some differences in this year’s event.
“We’re still planning to have our food booths, arts and crafts and specialty booths,” Gaitten said. “However, because of COVID and social distancing, booth spaces will be reduced to allow people to spread out more.”
Gaitten said that other activities, including the Easter Egg Hunt, entertainment, flower show, fun run/walk and fly-in are being tentatively planned. Formal announcements regarding the status of these events will be announced closer to festival time.
For now, however, it is important for any food, specialty or arts and crafts vendor who is interested in joining the festival to get those applications in.
“We will process applications on a space available basis, so the earlier we get your application, the better chance you have to be included,” Gaitten explained.
