The 64th Annual Meeting & Banquet of Metter-Candler Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Metter K-8 Complex. Networking will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner to be served at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Attendees must RSVP by Jan. 22 to secure tickets. Tickets can be ordered by email at or by calling 912-685-2159.

Masks will be encouraged.

Ballots have been mailed out to Chamber members to vote on two-year term Chamber directors. The candidates for Chamber director are Tiffanie Youngblood, Mandi Carter, Adrian Montealvo, Bronson Bragdon, Melissa Spears and Kim Critchley.

Additionally, Chamber members can vote for the Business of the Year. This year’s nominees include Tom’s Pawn City, Papa Buck’s BBQ, Jay’s Fuel Stop, Metter Chiropractic Center and Modern Finance.

When voting, members are asked to consider the business that best offers high quality products or services, demonstrates strong ethical standards, exhibits leadership with its employees and clients and within its industry, supports the Chamber activities and is active in the community.

Ballots must be returned in the self-addressed envelope by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15.
