Metter-Candler Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Candler Youth Leadership Class. 

Applicants must be residents of Candler County, classified as high school sophomores, juniors or seniors. Students who do not live in Candler County but whose parents are Metter-Candler Chamber members are also eligible to apply. Students who attend MHS but live outside the county may also apply.

Selected class members will have monthly sessions from October through April, including an economic development/mind design session, Industry Tour Day, service project day, a tour of city and county public safety, the GSU Ropes Course, a Team Building Day and a Community SWOT analysis. Additionally, there will be several volunteer opportunities for the students.

Completed application packets must be returned by Friday, Sept. 6, by email to metterchamber@gmail.com or in person at Pineland Telephone, attention Amanda Vernon, or at the Metter-Candler Chamber Office on N. Kennedy St.
