Tickets are on sale now for the 64th Annual Meeting and Banquet of Metter-Candler Chamber of Commerce.

The event, which will be held Thursday, Jan. 27, at Willow Lake Golf Club, will begin with a social at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m. 

Chamber members were mailed election ballots prior to the banquet. Three candidates are on the ballot for two-year terms as chamber directors: Eliza Noles, Grant Anderson and Janna Bryant. 

Additionally, chamber members will have the opportunity to vote for the Business of the Year. The award is given each year to a business that offers high-quality products or services, demonstrates strong ethical standards, exhibits leadership with its employees and clients and within its industry supports the chamber activities and is active in the community.

Candidates for the honor include Amit Mart #3; CPE America; Hulsey, Tootle & Harrison, LLP; Jay’s Fuel Stop and Linzer Products.

Ballots for Business of the Year and Chamber Directors should be returned to the chamber office by 5 p.m. Jan. 14.

Tickets are now on sale at $10 for chamber members and $20 for non-chamber members. Reserve seats by calling the Chamber office, 912-685-2159, or emailing chamber@betterinmetter.com by Jan. 14.
