The Candler County Foundation for Public Education is preparing for its annual Campaign, which will run from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31.

After the success of the 2019 “Class Challenge,” this year’s campaign will continue that friendly competition. More information will be coming soon about this year’s Challenge, but be warned, the Class of 2000 is already in the lead.

Why? Because the staff of the school system has already pledged a total of $15,015.40, and class pledges have put the Class of 2000 on top, for now. MHS led the way among the schools, pledging $4,644 of the $15,000.

The Education Foundation will be posting weekly updates to the leaderboard in the Metter Advertiser, on the Foundation website, and the facebook page candlercountyfoundation during the month of October and announcing the class winner in early November.
