Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Monday, January 18, Metter took part in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a parade of local elected officials, pageant queens, four wheeler and golf cart riders, and the Marching Tiger Pride. Metter High JROTC led the parade that made it’s way from Metter Police Department through downtown Metter.

This year’s entries showcased the theme: “United to Eliminate Racial Discrimination, and let Equality and Justice Prevail.”
